Starter/Fuel filter/oil filter easy access
« on: Mar 28, 2009, 08:33:26 AM »
If you look behind the passenger side front tire in the wheel well youll see a plate thats held in with 4 10mm bolts (head size).  If you remove that it makes life a hell of alot easier to remove filters/starter and what ever else you need to do down there.  Not sure if Im the only toyota-fanatic in the world that didnt know this existed, but I was happy to find it!!

If the rubber wheel well cover is still in place you may need to pull it down to find the access panel V-man described

Wow, been looking at my 4Runner rust away too long, need some inspiration and here I will find it...!

85 Toyota 4Runner, solid axle, 22Re, original paint and graphics and not a straight panel to be found!
