Help, cant find my fuel filter!!

like it says.  I have a 91 3.o Xcab, and the book I have for it has nothing to say about it. (chiltons :slap: ) I tried tracing the lines but along the frame next to the t-case, I lose some, and I cant tell if they are brakes or fuel :dunno:

the fuel filter should be right there by the motor..  atleast on the 92 i worked on did

It's under the cab, I believe on the passenger side.  They're usually a real pregnant dog to get off- be careful and don't round off the lines or you'll have to replace them.

yep, its under the cab pass. side nearthe tank. gas will try to spill right on you. its in some sort of metal case thing if i remember right. so you cant really tell its a filter. its a good idea to get a brake line style wrench thats like a closed end wrench, but with a slot in the front to slide over the line. its 12 mill. i think, those wrenches are priceless if it dosent want to come off... i gained some power and mileage with mine changed.  good luck.     :beer:
