2001 Honda s2000, Lots of Mods, Fun car, Asking 13,500 OBO

Alright guys i need to get rid of my daily driver!  i dont want to sell it but i am tired of payments and i am making some financial changes this year so the car has to go.

Chassis has 73,000 miles on it. Engine was replaced about four months ago with a very clean used one. Engine has 50,000 miles on it and runs perfect. It is an inline four cylinder VTEC, 2.0L, 9000 RPM redline, 240hp. Gets about 23 mpg city driving.  The interior is very clean and in great shape, all black leather. The exterior has a few small areas that need to be fixed. The trunk lid has a small dent right behind the "H" badge. I was quoted 150 bucks to fix it. The soft top has a couple small tears and i was quoted 75 bucks to fix those. The soft top also has a factory plastic rear window that has a tear in it down on the bottom by the vinyl. Idk if it is fixable, not sure what can be done with that. I have seen plenty of new replacement tops online for sale for about 450 bucks. The front bumper has some rock chips and the pass side fender has a small scrape right next to the headlight. All of this minor, normal wear damage is not very noticable considering that the car is silver.

Mods- AEM cold air intake, powdercoated gloss black. Invidia test pipe. Six puck ceramic clutch with 11lb chromoly flywheel, only has about 3000 miles on it. Nuespeed lowering coils. Nuespeed front strut bar and rear lower tie bar. Stock rims powdercoated gloss black with low mileage cooper tires on them. Skunk 2 VTEC solenoid cover. Interior has been completely dynomated. Center console has been wrapped in leather instead of carpet. Alpine head unit with aftermarket speakers and tweeters. Custom headliner for soft top. Storage compartment inside of truck lid with embroidered S2000 logos. Front bumper lower lip, rear trunk lid spoiler.

located in just outside of Rapid City South Dakota. asking 13,500    i will consider trades for a toyota pickup or another cheaper honda car. just let me know what you got and maybe we can work something out. Thanks!

number one piston was all scratched to hell and it was knocking.  So the whole engine was replaced.  i bought back the complete long block so i can bore it and build a low compression engine for turbo.

oh and i forgot i also have a transferable aftermarket warranty that basically covers everything mechanical. it is good for another 20,000 miles or year and a half.

I got lots of mods, it's a fun car (snow proven) and super lightweight +/- 1800 lbs.
heh heh... trade for my CRX??

It's got fans from a Mercedes and I could use the extra HP!!!

ha ha,  no thanks i have had three second gen CRX's already and dont need one that is in worse shape than any of those were!  but i guess i could give you 200 bucks for it on trade, then you would only have to come up with 13,300 cash

I'm guessing you now have the newer '03 motor in it? Heard they were the best year model ...earlier models have Piston/Engine problems......good luck..

no, the engine is the same year replacement.  this one does not have any issues. i talked to alot of people about the engine that was in it and no one had heard of the problem i had.
