Here is my first toyota. Its a 1987turbo xtra cab I bought it a bout a year ago bone stock from the original owner for $2200.  some might recognize it from last years roundup where me and my dad trailered it the 15 hours from az for its maiden voyage. It did well but i wanteda little more width and power so i installed taco width diamonds and a 2002 3rz.

nice lookin truck. so waht are you running for front axles if you have a wider front end?

BTW, that thing looks great.  Diamonds are bling for sure.

I run a 5 inch wider diamond front with a customs longfield 30 spline short side innner shaft. And the rear is a diamond with a 8"center section but uses Alloy Tacoma axle shafts. Both are 60.5"wide.

Wow very nice truck!
1986 extracab, SAS 38.5's Locked Duals, truggyfied, beadlocks
1988 2wd bagged and body dropped 3'' with a healthy 22r....

Dented the :pokinit: out of my passenger front fender on sunday. It will probably be Olive drab green by mcr8.

I used the Ors harness so as far as wiring goes? I only did 4runnerricks tach resistor mod and it worked.

Nice rig brotha.... The Diamond axles are Fuckn BAD ASS!!!  I want one in the front of mine asap!! Word on the street is TG is going to have a Hybrid Front Axles housing soon. From what I hear of course?  But the 3rz is what Im most jealous of!!  I cant wait too get mine :bowdown: :bowdown: :bowdown:

Yea but the TG housings are still 3" axle tubes and i think the coolest thing about the Diamonds are the beef 3.5 axle tubes. Plus the inner seal design is pretty cool too.

this ride is bling for sure. never saw it last year at the round-up, but that was cuz my luck was pretty crap going there. im diggin the creepy crawlers. 40s right? how much did you pick those up for?
