1983 toyota 4x4

i just bought my second first gen toyota. i was wondering what are some cheap things to make my truck trail worthy keep in mind it is my dd. also how do i put pictures on here.im new to marlin crawler so please help me out.

 :welcome:  I found out that the cheapest route for suspension is putting your rear springs in the front (RUF) and do chevy spring in the back. 

A cheap way to get gearing is look at a junkyard for some v6 auto diff, because some come with 4.56 or 4.88 gearing.

For the rear springs in the front I think you have to get drop spring hanger and longer shackles.  For the Chevy springs, sky offroad sells a mounting kit. I am planning to do that setup as well.  The problem is for me is the welding.

well im also so having some over heating problems ive put in new thermostat,new wter put theres no water in the oil, what else do you guys think it could be? and also what do these trucks have for stock gearing?

Take both hoses off hold your hand over the bottom outlet fill it all the way full of water. Then take yours hand off, it should drain in like 3 secs or less. Just go get it boiled out its unders 50 bucks

4.10 u can pull 33's but have zero balls.

Yeah the stock gearing is 4.10
