As of yesterday, we had seven days till we leave for California, for our vacation to see family and Disneyland!!  And my daughter and oldest son were playing on the floor, she does a stage dive over his shoulder and lands on the floor.  Well, she breaks her elbow!  :rivers:  Well, there isn't a clean break, but a very possible crack.  So, our daughter, who's 4, is gonna go to Disneyland with a cast on her arm!  I feel so bad for her, but accidents will happen.

I also have a daughter of 4, and that would probably hurt me more then her :rivers:.  Little girls are tough cookies.  I am sure she will still have fun with Mickey and the gang.

That is truly a bummer.

I understand that completely. The first time we took our daughter to Maui, at two years old, she had just broken her arm. It was a green stick fracture that she earned herself climbing out of her crib and bailing over the top rail. While we were there, she got a nasty case of scabies. Little girls are a lot tougher than they get credit for.

How can Obama win California at the same time that Prop 8 is winning?????

Rocksurfer

If she's anything like Rocks For Brains that cast won't slow her down a bit.

Mickey and all the other characters will all sign her cast, bring a Sharpie...she can save it forever!

Dr. appt yesterday went well, and they don't think she broke anything, maybe just bruised things.  So, tonight we will take the splint off and get her to move her arm around.  And if she still has pain to see the Dr. tomorrow, for more xrays.   :crossed:

So, far this morning she has bumped and laid on her arm and not a wimper.  But if you ask her about how her elbow is doing  :rivers:  So, she will be fine!!  :rofl2:

Norcal thanks for the info.  I've been checking the Caltran and roadtrip sites for weather info.  So, we will be fine traveling wise.  I came home with the flu last night.  I was seeing double on the way home, and thought I was gonna throw up.  I got home fine, it's only two miles and the back road had no traffic.  OR I would  have called the wife to come get me.  I crashed from 4 pm to 10 pm, then I was hungry.  Feel better today!!
