Last minute Snow Run on Bald,...

Well,.....anyone up for a snow run Saturday the 28th of Feb ?



My son Derek and I are taking his kids up for the day, the wife is holding a Baby Shower for a friend and needs Derek and the Kids gone for the day. Anyone interested ?

I hate to wheel alone, but I will be going up near Shaver, probably Bald. I'm sure I will find somebody up there I know. If not I just won't go to far. It's more of a play day anyway.

   Well, we made it just past the green gate and found a bunch of toyotas blocking the trail.  I was informed they where breaking trail, but after sitting for a half hour, I decidd to cut my own trail and turn around.  Traction was no problem, until I got a little too free and sank my rig into a snow bank with nobody around.  I had to winch myself out.....

Don't know how the rest of the group did,.....maybe some of them on on the forum.

thanks for the pics.   looks like were gonna get a couple more storms this week.   I said I was done with my snow runs but I think there is at least one more for me this winter.   I need to make it to the tower !!!!

Yea, budy,......You got to love Snow Runs at Bald.  They are allot more challenging than just snow covered roads.....



We still need allot more snow...

hey sorry for bloking the trail but we where breaking trail we make it to v rock it was a blast

Thats quite all right,..It is expected on snow runs.  I wish I could have stayed around, but the kids where getting resless.  We still had a good time.
