Bucket Seats
« on: Feb 16, 2009, 07:43:50 PM »
one of these days im gonna get some aftermarket bucket seats for my truck. i rode in my friends buggy that had hunsakers, they were the non reclineable ones. most comfortable seats ive ever rode in. im pretty much sold on the nonrecline they just have so much support. has anyone heard of the twisted stitch seats, how are they?

so what has everyone rode in or accually have? im mostly talking aftermarket. whats the best?

also i dont know if its just me, but it seems like hunsaker raised there prices and everyone else lowered theres. is it just me?

I race desert as well as own a 85 4runner crawler.  In our race car we use Beard seats.  Beard and Mastercraft are pretty much the top of the line when it comes to suspension seats.  PRP makes a pretty good seat as well.  One of our competitors is sponsored by Twisted Stitch seats and he swears by them.  I have never been in his car so i really don't know.  We are sponsored by Beard but don't let that fool ya.  99% of desert racers use Beard or Mastercraft.  Top notch can't go wrong with either of those.  A little pricier compared to other brands but well worth it in my opinion.  Comfort is priority number 1

If your looking at PRP seats give my buddy Scott a call at rock buggy supply.  He usually gives pretty good deals on them.  Their an official PRP retailer.  Look them up on the web.  Probably the best deal out there

I had Beard ultra seats in my bronco and now have mastercraft Sportsman seats and both are quality seats. I dont haveany persoanl expierience with PRP's or Twisted Stitch but i know people speak highly of them.
