I'm lookin for pics and info on fabbin a built in floor compartment on a 1st gen runner. I saw a thread a while back but can't find it after searching for it here and GOOGLE.   Thanks

Thanks bigarms23 I spend alot of time on both forums and it gets blurry sometimes where I stumble into a certain thread. I would like to have lockable storage when I have the top off without eliminating cargo space.

Thanks Tallchevy That's exactly what I was thinking about doing. A door on the outside of the box might be a good idea if the rig is loaded and you need to get something out.

Perhaps a small lockable door on the vertical face of the underside compartment?

thats a sweet set up on the floor but that room underneath is a great spot for a rear winch,i made a winch mount and stuffed a 8k warn in there works great
