just curious?
« on: Sep 14, 2004, 09:41:57 PM »
buddy has an 74 toy hilux. the idea of converting it to 4wd has come up. what 4wd tranny would bolt up to a 18r? also if we used a 2wd rear, it wouldnt matter if the gears were the saem front and back would it?

What are you talking about? The diff ratios would have to match front and rear

ah, i got it. I was going to say that my friend has a 18R-G and the flywheels are the same. So you can use the 22R flywheel and run the correct clutch and fork, so that shouldnt be a problem, BUT, this is just something that I remember and I am not really sure about it. I will have to ask him about the bolt patterns cuz I :dunno:
