IFS FLANGE ON 83 THIRD

Can I take the IFS flange and bolt it to my 83 third, I have the later model third in the front of da runner and I still have the IFS crap but I was thinking if I could take off the 87 flange and replace the 83 flange on the third on the front of the runner......


will it work can i use an 87 third member on an 83 third member

The IFS pinion is a smaller diameter I believe. You should beable to get a flange that will be drilled for all the diffrent patterns
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

go with the tripple drilled flange.there cheap

they have a different spline count, and the ifs front 3rd pinyon is smaller too.

dave just rotate the flange 1/4 turn and drill new holes.

on 83s they are smaller rouns and you cant quite drill them with out breaking out the sides

I had the same problem, I will just find a bigger one.
