Nice crawlers. I was wondering how you like the Hot Bodies tires compared to the tires you have on your son's rig. Which do you think performs better of the two??
Thanx dude . I really like the hot bodies , they worked good and my Son's did too . Kinda hard to say , I originally wanted the hot bodies because of the size . I got the less soft compund (blue) . They have a white that is even softer but it felt a little too soft for me . Almost felt like jello .

Cool, yeah I have been eyeballing the Hot Bodies but I wasnt sure about the different compounds. You think the super soft is just too soft? I might have to go to a hobby store and check them out, might hold off on ordering them until I can check the dif compounds out first hand.

Actually , that truck in that picture has the same tires I have(that's Brad's rig) . The one in the picture of all of them on the table all the way to the right is Travis' rig , that one has the same tires as Carlos' and everything but the body is cut different .

I think the super soft ones might work even better but I run mine on alot of rocks so I was affraid they would tear or rip easy . I might be wrong though , my buddy just got the same ones I got but he got those because those were the only ones they had when he bought them . He loves them too .

I think i might have to get rid of my cliff climber and get something a little more capable.I am really liking those axials, from what i have heard and read and seen they kick butt.I need to get my hy-steer and 63's on my first gen first though before i dump money into another hobby.

Picked up a set of the new 2.2 TSL/SXs . I am the first person to have these on a crawler , besides the prototypes .

You lucky b*std....  :gap:

So they look a little taller than the 2.2 Rovers? Or is it just the angle of the picture? How do they do offroad? Better than the Rovers?

They look sick on your rig. Lookin' great.

Thanks bro ! ! ! , I'm diggin the way yours came out for sure . . . I think they are really close in size , maybe less than a hair taller then the Rovers . I tested them out for a just few minutes this past weekend (It was really hot that day and I had been out a little too late the night before)and I really liked the way they worked , they are nice and soft compound . I lost an inner bead on one and started to loose the other , I kinda doubt that was because of too soft of a compound but it did cross my mind . I think it was mainly because I may not have tightened the inner beadlock rings all the way when I put them on .

Its awesome you and your boys all have crawlers. I think its one of the best ways of getting kids into wheeling at a young age.

How do you like the TSLs VS the Iroks? The TSLs seem like a much softer compound to me.

In my opinion , Axial is the way to go if you're just getting started . Lots of parts available and they are reasonably priced .
