actually it is ready!  I got it all put back together a few hours ago.  planning on wheeling on sunday.  I will post a few pics of the front gears and the truck all put together tomorrow

it was great!  went and ran Flat N Nasty on sunday and everything worked excellent.  I didnt get any pictures because my piece of crap camera decided it didnt want to recognize the memory card    It feels great to have a front locker again!  Thank you sooo much for hooking me up with that powertrax locker, its runnin smooth with new springs in it   I owe ya one Uncle Ben!  I'm getting excited for the classic, only 3 weeks away... wish you guys could make it

I had a broken front axle dude!   the bearing cage on the passenger side broke into pieces and the balls fell out.   

So when I thought everything went well on the first test run, I actually ended up breaking an axle right at the end of the trail and didnt realize it.  It was way too easy to break it so I went ahead and ordered longs.  I dont want to have to worry about breaking an axle every time i go out!  They should be here by wednesday

So I finished up my spare tire carrier yesterday. I designed it with a latch, hinges and gas shocks.  When I pull the pin, the shocks lift the tire up so I can get to my fuel cell, winch, battery and whatnot.  It worked out pretty good.   Here are some pics of the fabwork.  I want to get it painted today, then i will throw the tire on and get some pics of how it fits.

the struts are 120 lb capacity each.  they are just enough to hold it up

So the wife and i just got back from our clubs annual event yesterday.  Had a great time and didnt break anything!  Our event is called the Black hills Cruiser Classic.  Its held in the Black Hills of South Dakota  (same area as Mount Rushmore for those of you who have never heard of South Dakota haha)  Here are a bunch of pics, Enjoy!!
