2wd tranny to 4wd tranny??

this is prolly a dumb question but i have a 90 2wd toy and was wondering if there is anyway to bolt up a reduction box/t case.. ya know???
91 std cab, flatbed, 35 mtr's, aussie, 5.29's, 4.7's, twin sticks

you can do it with OTT's divorced adapter, but i think it'd be cheaper just to find a W56 and bolt it behind your motor.

Or you might be able to change the tail shaft and tail housing of the 2WD tranny to convert it to a 4WD trany. And since your tranny is the same internals as a 4WD W56, you can use either the early model rear housing (uses topshift style t/case) or the late model rear housing (uses forward shift style t/case).
