crossmember question?

I have a 83 that i put a w56 and duals in and i made a bracket to use my factory crossmember til i got the money for one now does anyone know what crossmember i need cause i know the budbuilt for a first gen bolts where the frame is bent and i since the tranny is longer will a sec gen budbuilt be what i need if i run u bolts over my frame to hold it i heard  thats what i need to do but not sure
