Door speaker replacement cheap trick

This should save you some money. I blew my front speakers the other day. And used the following tools
1. My hands
2. Old pants leg
3. Phillips Screwdriver
First I used the old pants leg to remove the window crank handle (pant leg behind the arm) then I used my Phillips to take off the mirror's manual control knob and bracket. Remove the door handle and the screw holding the door latch in place then use your hands to carefully pull the door panel away from the door then slide the door latch forward turning it slightly it will fit into it opening then carefully slide it towards the door. It took me a total of 15 mins to do both doors the speaker hook up it depends on what you are putting in there. I hope this helps DC

I also replaced the front speakers on my 94....its simple Just un-screw the pannel pull it out un-screw speaker, disconnect cables throw old speakers in your neighbors yard ( ) get new speaker connect the wires (their plug ins...soo simple) screw speakers....screw panel and screw paying BestBuy 40 bucks for them to do it and for them to take all day on it....it took me a like...15 or 20 the passenger side is the same with the exception that you have to take out the glove conpartment but thats easy

Indeed it is easy, even with out dropping $35.00 for the so called proper tools. You take it to a place and 9 times out of 10 when you get it back you will hear all sorts of rattles and squeaks
