Problem need some help

got my sas,d 89  on the road tonight finally  i got a problem though  when i let out the clutch the battery and emergency break lights come on briefly and then shut off and then come back when ever i let the clutch out

Thats what i was thinking my buddys a mechanic and he said that same thing

It may sound funny but in the process of doing the swap did you remove the pulley for the power steering on the crank? If you did you may not have bolted the pulley back on properly. You need to make sure you bolted the pulley for the alternator back on, it will be the pulley closest to the engine. The bolts that hold the ps also go through the alt.
