I know alot of people are using square driveshafts, but I didnt find much on other types of tubing such as stuff used in pto's and such. I just acquired about 5 feet of inner and outer tubing maybe 3/16ths  walled sortof rounded triangular stock. It seems like it would be fine for a front, considering I dont plan on going bigger than my 22re with my 4.7's. Anyone else?

Have you ever thought of how much those shafts see?  I have, do it!  I am working a deal for a few feet of splined shaft, its the same stuff that the big driveline shops use and charge you internal organs for.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

it's usually used for tractor pto

I have a friend who know where to have them and he say it won't cost too much.

Its an odd kind of triangular pto shaft, with a triangular piece that fits down inside it that is the same contour with a perfect fit. I think it should work, I guess I'll find out.
