It's me again. I took the steering box over to the parts house to get p/s hoses
they can't get them. is this a toyota only part. They can't get the right fitting.
Sounds like a toyota part?

I don't recall offhand, and I don't have that catalog here at home. Wrecking yard would be cheaper...I don't even think i'd want to know how much Toyota wants for them. I'll check tomorrow at work.

Oh...you should be able to use late model (ifs) toy hoses with a little bending.

Thanks , I don't know if i'll get to town tomorrow [I live on a ranch] if I
do I'll check the parts house and let you know. These guy's aren't very helpful,
they want to know why I would want to do this, If it's not on the shelf we don't have it
mentality...

give them this part number: 7-3354

This might be another not so smart question but would the threads on the box differ from years or would they all be the same?  I would think they would all be the same but sometimes you never know.

Well not knowing the yaer of the parts it'll be interesting. I ordered thep part that Duffil said was the part# . the hose will be for an 81 box if it doesn't work then according to Napa , they can special order an 80 yr model we'll see i'll keep ya posted.
Good question tho,btw the pressure port on the pump and box are 16mm the low press. are 14mm FYI....

Hey Duffil, thanks that NAPA# was perf.81-88, The box and pump work together so they must be similar years,I'll start using NAPA again thanks....
