I'm in the middle of building a movable winch mount...I don't have a winch yet (that's the way I am!) , but, I can still make the majority of the mount. I need to know the foot size of the winch. Anybody willing to run out to the garage and take some measurements for me?

this is for a WARN M8000- Above performance specs are based on first layer of drum

Winch Dimensions: 21.04" L. x 6.3" D. x 7.6" H.
(534mm L. x 160m D. x 193mm H.)
Mounting Bolt Pattern: 10.0" x 4.5" (254mm x 114.3mm)

Not from Iowa...huh? Well me too, I only lived there a couple of years. Van Meter is west on I-80 between Booneville and DeSoto. I may have misread...your profile said Des Moines Right?
