2003 Honda 50 motorcycle troubles

a friend called me today wanting to know if i knew anyone with motorcycle knowledge,  he  has or is working on a honda 50cc, something about "cdi and the coil"  and "it only makes 5 volts from the magneto"

anybody got small honda knowledge

I don't know about that, but I'd think a little google search for honda 50 cdi voltage, magneto voltage, or whatever might be would be a good start.

I forgot about thumpertalk!  I've only been there a couple times looking for ideas for modding one of my xr75s.
