We were offered sema tix from our work this year... but we had to take the time unpaid and find our own transportation - which is fine, but we can't afford to take the time off AND take a trip  One of these years I'll make it.... :hyper:

Yup , I agree . I haven't seen the axle so I don't know what it is . I kinda doubt it's a Dana but it was confirmed to me that it is a solid axle . I really dig the retro paint scheme and roll bar .

**edit**

It's a Landcruiser axle.

I'm digging the old school toyota look, including the white five spoke wheels.   :yesnod:

As for going into production, I doubt it, since they put IFS into the new LC's!

i would buy one!
I wouldn't. They are too damn big, and I think they are ugly as :pokinit:. I like the older, smaller Taco body. :twocents:

I like it, all except for that front push bar.  Those things are useless.  If the ditched the front bumper completely and made a nice tube bumper for it, I'd rock it!

I especially like the grill.

All of those bumpers made in the 80's were useless.  Why should one trying to mimic the 80's style be any different.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

That gives me a lot of hope to see a Tacoma like that with a solid front axle. I will be keeping my fingers crossed....
