Life is precious, treasure it!
« on: Nov 02, 2008, 07:04:27 PM »
Found out about 8 o clock' this morning that a co-worker died. I just saw him yesterday at work and now he's gone...

Leaving behind his wife and 3 year old son...

I'm at a lose of words for just begining to think of how to tell your 3 year old son that he's never gonna see daddy again.

His son was his life, he was a goof ball but a great guy and will definently be missed.

That sucks man, but it does remind you to appreciate what you have!  It always trips me out when I find out somebody I knew died.  Best of luck to the family!

Excessive speed and slick road conditions proved a fatal combination for a 27-year-old Olivehurst man who violently flipped and rolled his truck near his home late Saturday night.

How sad.

We've seen some of the best wheelers lose their lives just messing around lately. It's sad that it happened this way.

That's sad... Matt and I went out to get dinner on Thursday night about a mile from our home.  We saw two accidents within less than a mile - both were from excessive speed, and both of them had an innocent victim :headshake:

That guy's family is in my prayers.

Also, a warning to those that do have family and responsibility. A calculated risk is just that. Know your limits, know your environment. My heart goes out to the widow and her son. I would send money to a fund for the boy.

I'll be at work tomorrow and will probably find out more about it. So far I havn't heard anything.

Terry had alot of friends and a large caring family which i'm sure is helping right now.

BD, that reminds me, on my way home from dinner the other night, which was about 1 mile from my house, we saw two accidents actually happen within 1/2 mile of each other.  Both were due to excessive speed of one party with an innocent party getting hit.  It is crazy out there people, drive safe!

today was probably one of the most awkward day's i've ever had..

we got together in our studio like we typically do for an "all employee meeting" and the GM broke the news to everyone. There was alot of people that didn't know yet so it was a huge downer for the entire day..

They had a counsler at work all day for anyone who needed to talk which was nice.

I'm the type of person who will get stuck on greeving for weeks or months to myself quietly after the fact and just run about a million idea's through my head at once non stop about everything...

So to keep myself occupied I just kept busy all day long, didn't take much of a break and didn't stop for anything so I was preoccupied all day.

One thing that did come up in the meeting was a trust fund of some sort for his son so that when he turns 18 he'll have something for college. They are still in the process of setting an account up but once I find out I will definently let everyone know.

Thanks for the support, it does mean alot!

I know there are some that would like to donate and every cent is really appriciated.

They've set up a fund for the son that he will be able to open when he turns 18

Account is set up at Washington Mutual Bank

Account number is 4221430799

Terry would have really appriciated everyone looking out for his "number one"  Austin like this.

Thanks.
