I have an 86 4runner that died  :help: :rivers:    on me after commuting 30 miles one way for a new job.  I would like to swap the body over to a K-5 Blazer and hope to find someone that has had a similar experience. :driving:   Any technical advise would be muchly appreciated.

You would be better off swapping the GM drivetrain into the Runner...keep that fully boxed toy fram.  GM are C-channel, notorious for being weak, flexing too much and cracking from the fatigue.  It maybe more work to swap to the yota, but you will end up with a better truck in the end.   :-\\
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Ive seen Toyotas on chevy frames before and i think its pretty sick.  I would guess that they had to switch the wiring harnes, fabricate new body mounts and cutr out the inner fender wells to fit the much larger engine.  Wheel base is the only major problem you should have, you dont want the rear tires to be under the bumper.  Once you get this figured out it would be a good project and you should do it :beerchug:    :turtle:  :usa:
RIP SSg Sizemore, Sgt Mock, Spc McGuness, Pfc Hill, Pfc Marsh, Pfc   Garcia, Pfc Hardge, Ssg Campos. You will be missed greatly by all of C-Rock.

No Power

Sounds like a ton-o-work .
But if you think you can do it
I say go for it
It will prolly look pretty sic when
it's done.
Good luck with the project
and keep us posted :beerchug:
