I'm leaving the puller on overnight with tension on it and I'll try and the bfh technique again tomorrow. I sprayed wd40 on it would penetrating oil or something help?
oh man when i changed my pitman arm i beat the crap outta that thing with the bearing puller on it and used some heat and it didnt budge , a dang pinion bearing couldnt have been tighterso i got a cut off wheel and
Sprayed it down with PB BlasterPut the HF puller on it real tightWhen I came out in the morning it was laying on the floor.
And... She's off! A cheap 3 arm puller, wd40, hose clamp, and bfh did the trick. Apparently there's more mud under the truck than I thought. It started raining down when the bfh session began. Do I need to press the new one on some how or just crank down/torque the nut?
