my 86 runner build slow process
« on: Oct 13, 2008, 05:29:05 PM »
so im buyin an 86 stock runner tomorrow! im stoked . but ive got a few questions, one is ive got a set of 38's i want to put on it and im not sure what size springs would work best without jackin my truck way up in the air, im totally fine with cutting the fenders but i dont want it too tall. any suggestions? and its got the auto tranny and im taking that out and putting in my 5 speed with the dual case setup im pretty sure i have to build a nes cross member, has anyone done that and if so what did you do?  thanks for the input

keep the auto tranny and run a dual t-cases setup and 4inch springs would work fine

yeah im sas-ing it and i was thinkin of keepin the auto tranny but its totally dead. so i picked up the truck and its got some nasty carpet so thats gonna have to come out but the body is really clean, little rust spots here and there but nothing too bad. im gonna have to find the time to tear the interior out so i can clean it and i was thinkin of rino lining the inside but im thinking thats gonna cost a lot
