Howdy guys, new to the toy thing and I am totally lost on where to start with the suspension. All I want is to run 33 or 35 inch mtr's on a minimal lift to keep my CG  as low as possible. I have an 81 which has the larger wheel wells however Im reading online that all I need to run 35's is a three to five inch lift. Does anyone have a good recipe or checklist for a junkyard run on what I need? As aslways the cheaper the better.
Thanks

ps: are 35's a good idea for a daily driver?

You are looking at 81 rears up front with a 5' hole to hole shackle in the front.  And a stock 81 rear pack with a shackle and adda leaf sitting on 35's.  I tubbed the floor boards a little bit but otherwise they cleared easily.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Thanks WT I knew you would come through, do the spring perches have to bre re-drilled up front? I may try out your caddy spring idea

I didnt drill them at the time of the pic but I did when I swapped everything over to the 90 body.
