I got a flange from a guy on the turbo truck fourm. I was just gonna use u bends. Weld ells seem super heavy. I dont see why you would want them that thick?? Lc eng. header is made outta normal header tubing i think. Maybe cuz theirs is stainless?

you want the tubing to be at least sch 40 since the manifold will be seeing WAY higher EGT's than a N/A motor, most likely if you use anything thinner, like stainless, it will work for a little while, but crack over time from heat and stress. make sure you fab up some sort of support from the collector to the block/frame whatev.

ive heard of the lc headers cracking...

and their motors are retarded, $4k for 130hp? totally...

Hook me up wit the info man, I need to do something in my runner when i get it done. I can run the motor out of my truck is the plan for now. Its just the 22re, but i would like to just do a motor in the runner right from the start ya know!!

Just run a cam header and free flowing exhaust... anything other then that is gonna cost some coin. I just think if you want power go turbo or do a motor swap.

Which turbo's are the easiest to find to swap in? Celica's probly or not, i just don't know which toyota's really had a turbo on them at stock! I should know but its been awhile since i've dug into it cause i was going to do the 4.3 swap out of a s 10 i think is wat it was!! i've just been rocking the 22re for so long wit dual cases and 5.29's and gonna get 4.7's in the case i just dont need more power on the trail really. Its not my daily driver by any means!!

none of the celica's had a turbo from the factory from what i know.  I could be wrong though!  your best bet is an engine swap of somekind or just a basic rebuild with a header, cam, bigger exhaust and an intake.  just those basics will get ya decent power.  I will help ya build a 22re mang!  i have built like three or four of em.  We did a full rebuild on my buddy Brandon's rig and that thing ripped!  Did a 30 thousandths bore, decked the head, bigger valves, header, exhaust, and he had an intake system built for it.  It ran really strong.  Anyways, enough with the threadjack! sorry joey0712

Well i have been working on linking the front. I found out today that my Diamond has shipped . I will mock up links as soon as i have it. Ive cut the frame off just after the body mount. I used 2 in Dom to build the frame. I also lowered the motor 2.5 inches and made solid motor mounts. Ill post pics once i have my housing.

I got the crossmember tacked up and the axle is at full bump. Im gonna order come new clamps for my ram so i can mount it on the new housing.
