I can't get the rear 4cly 3rd member off
« on: Sep 19, 2008, 02:18:29 PM »
I have the axle shafts out, driveshaft is unbolted and out of the way, all the 12mm nuts are removed from the 3rd member. I can't seem to separate the 3rd from the axle  :sheerterror: I tried hitting the 3rd with a hammer and wood, it tried getting a screwdriver between the 3rd and axle???

anyone ??

Just put a jack under it and start lifting, that should break it loose.
