Author Topic: I can't get the rear 4cly 3rd member off (Read 2129 times)

I have the axle shafts out, driveshaft is unbolted and out of the way, all the 12mm nuts are removed from the 3rd member. I can't seem to separate the 3rd from the axle

I tried hitting the 3rd with a hammer and wood, it tried getting a screwdriver between the 3rd and axle???

anyone ??

I wasn't hitting it very hard. I will try and wack it again.

Just put a jack under it and start lifting, that should break it loose.

Yes jack is the best, thats what i did when i put in my locker.
