Here are a couple of pics so you can see what I was talking about. Hope this helps. I'll try and get some internal pics in a couple of weeks. As soon as I can get that new rear end up from So.Cal.
Front pics, with cable coming in from top of old electric motor mount.

One more. The rear with my new stealth drive shaft. :smack:

Are those converted TRD electric lockers?

Yes, high pinion front, and taco rear. My own cable convertion. I've heard that the downey kit doesn't work on the front, and it only cost me about $80 to do both front and rear.

Hmm anyone else catch the tierod BEHIND the axle?....
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

4x4 labs steering or custom?

Im sure it's custom. FIREBALL think's he's a great engineer but he just gets some lucky ideas while sleeping on the job

Jason - Thanks for the pics! Once I get my 3rds I'll be sure to consult these pics to do my own!

No prob Mike.
The arms are custom. The cables I ordered from a local speed shop, and they were built in Oakland I think. The ends of the cable are male thread, and then you screw on a baby heim joint. I'm picking up my replacement rear end at the end of this week, so i'll post some internal pics of the locker set up in about a week. I need to get my pile back on the trail!
Mike, i'll probably see you Thursday night, your dad said I can have your room for the night. I declined and told him i'd take the litter box, as it is cleaner and smells better, and there are no stains on the sheets.

That seems easy enough.. was that bolt already their or did you also modify some internal parts to mount the baby heim? Also, where in the world did you find that baby joint at to begin with :hyper:

The baby heim came with the cables.
I welded a small bolt to the spring retainer. I had to space it about 3/8 of an inch toward the pivot point so it would shorten the throw a little.
How've you been? Haven't talked to ya in awhile.
It's about time you got back on here for a few minutes.
Is your girl friend doin good?
Workin on your truck today?

I ordered them from a speed shop in Chico. They said that they come from a supplier in Oakland. I'm not sure of the name....sorry.
Try calling Petterson Motor Sports in Chico Ca.
These are basically PTO cables.

If you can't find out any info, let me know and i'll try and make some time.
