It's monday morning and me WOH and another friend just get to school and are talking about what we did on the week end when all of a sudden we hear a louad a** KaBOOOOOOm!!! We're like what the hell? What was that? So we're sittin there trying to figure out what happend when we see some dark black smoke in the sky. HMMMMM? We deside we're going to ditch school and go see what happend so we walk accross the fields and accross a bike trail, ditch our backpacks, then we keep walking along the main road and cut through some bushes an crap. When we get there we see a couple peices of burnt wood for a garage and half an S-10, what we couldn't see was that some trees were hiding what was left of the guys house (basicly a wall) the guy is in cridical condition :nerv: But should come through.

So what do you guys think it was? Common lets here what you got to say. I allready know and who ever gets it right get 2 free, thats right, free, posts. There is a clue in side the story so read carefully.
PS: If you know don't say Im trying to have a little fun :thud:

Here let me guess. This one is just off the top of my head, all completely random. The guys propane line leaked and filled his garage with propane and when his water heater turned on KABOOM!

So was I right?

Ok here goes...

We first head about this from one of Marlin's best of best friends who lives there in Paradise, Jason Maxson. He used to have a Yellow 86' Convertible with Marlin Crawler #0001 Dual Case and Gear Set #0003 or so. He parted it out and sold his rig however, and is building a new one, but heres my story:

Marlin was on the phone with Jess at HADL, and Jess knows that Jason and Marlin are pals, and he said, "Hey Marlin, I hate to say this, but a huge explosion occurred this morning and it came from where Jason lives." So we weren't sure what the hell had happened, but maybe Jason was involved or something.

So Marlin waited until after 5pm to give him a call and Jason had the whole story. It was HIS NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOR! But fortunately a small stream ran between the two of them and so the house that blew up was a good 300 feet away.

Jason was shaving or brushing his teeth and he heard the loudest KABOOM that he had ever heard in his life! He said it was so loud, 3 windows in his den broke and one in his garage broke. And his other neighbor's motorhome's door (you know those cheap lightweight doors?) got ripped off like as if someone ran up and pulled as hard as they could and yanked the door off!

Now Jason works full time for the paradise Fire Dept up there, so he has all the training, EMT, Paramedic, First Aid, Search and Rescue, yadda yadda so he grabbed some gear and ran over there. He was the first at the scene. He said the only thing standing was one wall. Everything was blown up!  He walked through what used to be the kitchen and was yelling if anyone was there when he saw the owner get up and run over to him with third degree burns all over his face and body. It was pretty bad. Jason ran back home, called 9-1-1, ran back, escorted the guy to his house where he treated some of his burns and waited for the Ambulance to show.

So that's the real story!

Mike

I think it was the water heater pressure relief valve, it allowed the water heater to build enough pressure to explode that my friend would blow a house to bits.
