cruise control

i may have posted this before i can't remeber but lets try again. my switch comes on, on the dash. but the cruise itself wont set. ive checked the fuses because thats about all i knew to do with it. any ideas or diagrams to help me out. my chiltons did nothing for me

A malfunctioning CC will give trouble codes.  The chiltons should help there.

After spending hours checking for bad wires, servo ect., I gave up and sent the truck to the dealer  :mad:
As I remember, it ended up being a burned out brake light  :smack:

My CC went out over a period of time on my DD. I was told it was a vacuum leak. :dunno:
