I just wanted to ask. I'm looking for a good, reasonably priced, whiskey. My two favorites right now are Wild Turkey and JD. :beerchug:

If you are talkin Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey's then Makers Mark is reasonable and good tasting.   I prefer blended scotch whiskey like Ushers Green Stripe.

What kind of Whiskey are you looking for,  Kentucky style Bourbon, Canadian, Irish, etc?  There are many styles of Whiskeys with very very different tastes.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Maker's Mark, it's kind of pricey but I think it's damn good bourbon

Here is a link to give you more info about types and brands of whiskey's, along with their general costs.

*edited*   Ten High is a cheap rail or well bourbon.  I would only use if your mixing with coke or sour.  Not very good straight up.

Well I'm a big bourbon drinker....Makers and Knob are both good....

Personally I like Evan Williams single barrel, Bulliet and 1843 :boozer:

Evan is the ONLY bourbon (or any whiskey) that I know of that has a handsigned date it was put in the barrel which was always at least 10 years ago....verrrry flavorful

This thread topic is TOO broad!

There are just too many types to compare....its like apples and oranges...

Irish, Scotch, Canadian, blended, single malt, single barrel, bourbon....etc..

a better question might be "What is your favorite type and brand of whisky?"

I am not really big on whiskey, I really only like rum. Only whiskey of any type that I can recall enjoying is Crown Royal and Maker's Mark. Gentlemen Jack is pretty good too but thats about the only whiskeys I can think of that I have had, and liked.

yep, once you get on a good single barrel(well worth the $50-$70 fith) your standards kinda go up a bit over blended whiskeys  ;)

When I do drink these, which isnt often now, it s probably Yukon Jack or Woodford Reserve Bourbon
