Well, my mom decided that her digital camera was just too much for her!  So, she was gonna downgrade to something simpler.  Well, she had the Nikon D70.  And now she has the Nikon D300!!  :rofl2:  DOWNGRADE!!!  That was no downgrade.  Thats like going from a Ford LTD to a Mercedes S class!  Well, there isn't that much difference between the two, but you get the idea!

Well, you guys are probably thinking where this is going?  :dunno: :headscratch:

Well, I got a early x-mas present!!   :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly: :willynilly:

Plus, I got a Nikon N50 slr camera (film) that I will just trade it in for some a spare battery and flash card for the D70.  But I will keep the lens off it, they are compatible.

I'm so excited, I have to start reading up on this camera!  My wife is soooo jealous!! :drooling:

What do ya'll think?

I'd change that to Do Not Click If You Are Using Dial Up, You Have Been Warned, it was a slow load even with DSL.

Well, Mike I too would love the D300!!  I will probably be getting it, in about 4 to 5 years from now, when she decides she needs to downgrade again!    :willynilly: :eyebrow: :sly:  :yesnod:   :ladys-man:

I just need to find a local nikon dealer that can clean the D70.  Since the D70 has a small "static" issue with the imaging sensor.  That has been fixed in all the following models!

You also need to make sure you have the latest software drivers (which you can download from Nikon). :yesnod:

Well, my step dad said he will pay to have the camera cleaned and what not.   :willynilly:  To make sure that it is in 100% working condition.  I've had some minor problems, but I think it is due to not using Nikon approved flash cards, and trying to do things with it before reading the book.   :smack:

But here is a few pics I've taken with it!

My son and his red hooded sweatshirt.  Which makes me want to bust out Adam Sandler's song, "Red Hooded Sweatshirt!"  And a side profile.

So, I think I'm gonna be really happy with this camera!  My wife is soo jealous that I have an awesome camera!
Thanks for looking!  :yesnod:

You seem to have not been wearing your right shoe in some of those shots.... :gap:

Cheesemaker

Nah, it was my left shoe!  Look at the sunset picture!

It's been a long time since I've used a SLR bodied camera.  I used to have very steady hands, but I'm getting older.
I actually pulled out all my old stuff and found half used rolls still in them.  And some very dead batteries!  OOOPS!!

Mini- is there any good online sites to get things like flash cards, and camera bags?
