When you get your engine mounts burned in and the engine sat on them permanently, let me know how much space you have between your radiator and the front of the engine.
With the radiator mocked up I have 5 1/4 inches between the fan pulley and the radiator.
No it probablly wont be running for a few weeks im waiting on my harness ORS and i still have to buy a bunch of accessoies like power steering pump, alt, starter, ac compressor, and a bunch of other small things.I dont see there being any vibration with the poly urethane bushings in em.
dang it man... I got my HAYDEN fan in today, and it barely clears, but I don't have the belts to put on to see if it clears completely and I about 3 3/4"-4" between my radiator and water pump pulley. There's no way a stock fan would clear. I might have to go get some steel plate and make some kinda adapters to move the engine back about 2 inches instead of cutting my mounts off.
What are you doing the swap on? My transfercase sits on the crossmember in the original location and with a W56 tranny. With a W59 bell housing i have 5 and a 1/4 clearance. I dont understand how your clearance is different unless you were using a longer tranny.
Im not quiet sure why you guess are so short on room up front. I put mine in and had plenty of room for the 22re fan and clutch with a 3 row rad. Swap looks great though.
I'm putting this in my 85' 4Runner. It came w/ an automatic, so I'm not sure if the cross member mounting location distance is different between it and the 5spd I'm using.
