 Well, my DD crapped out on me today...... I'm thinkin the water pump, or if I'm lucky, one of the pulleys.  I was driving home from getting a part from AZ for Matt's rig and we were bout 1/2 mile away and it started dying on me every time I'd stop (light, stop sign etc).  I realized it was squealing & smoking, but I pushed it cuz we were so close to home.  By the time we got home it was boiling and steaming and smoking and overflowing from the coolant reservior like crazy.  So..... I let it cool and restarted it (to move it into the driveway) and it did fine.  :headscratch: :shake: :headscratch:

One of the v-belts is frayed on the edges, and they weren't a couple weeks ago.  So I'm hoping it's simple, but my gut says it's the water pump - which is an insane job.

We'll see how badly this effects getting the Migo goin for the roundup  :crossed:

Make him fix it, you're married now and don't have to do repair work anymore! :gap:

So I found out that my water pump is timing belt driven... so IF it was in fact the water pump siezing (highly likely), then I have to change not only my water pump, but change the timing belt as well.  I'm hoping that the valves didn't get bent  :hammer:

There's a $120 in parts alone...... then 6 hours if everything goes smoothly to do the work.
