Somehow, I got on the MUTHER FRICKIN Sierra Clubs mailing list!  :maddest:  :maddest:  :maddest:  :maddest:  :maddest:

They've been sending me their political BS for two weeks now!  And to top it all off, they send like 2 pounds of mailing at a time!  At least they are gonna keep loggers in a job while they try to spread their word!
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

Do you get any of the pre-paid return envelopes with any of the mailings?  If so, box everything up and mail it back at their expense.  There are no limits to what you can send.  I have seen people mail tires to get back at companies.

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Rather than burn up energy being pissed, channel that energy into making them regret ever sending anything to you. I like BD's mailing campaign -- if they don't send out post-paid envelopes, I'm not sure what to do...  I bet more creative minds than mine can come up with a few ideas.   This could get interesting....

We all know that the Sierra Club has no humor, if you sent them a glitter bomb they'd send the guys in the Green suits. Greens suits are their version of the guys in the black suits but environmentally friendly they won't use cement shoes they'll use environmentally friendly hardened dirt.

I would threaten to bring suit against them, for character assassination...'cause you know lots of people at the post office see those mailings and now they think you're a zombie.

C'mon...who goes to the trouble of sending you crap and doesn't include a pre-paid return envelope?

Send some used motor oil, it's legal to mail properly packaged.  Blackstone Labs will provide sample kits for free read to ship.

Plekto

The common one is to send a note saying to remove you from the list... and include a piece of steel plate the size of the envelope(it should weigh about a pound).

Heavy, costs them 2-3 dollars in postage, and perfectly legal to ship with zero problems.  Be sure to tape the envelope shut though - the glue has a hard time holding with that much weight in the thing.

Trunkz

you can tape the prepaid envelopes to a larger box and the post office will still ship them, and charge the company the correct amount for the shipping, your limited to 70lbs i think for usps but you can put it in an oversized box so they get that extra charge as well

find an old mounted animal (yard sale, whatever), you know, one of the ones thats been neglected for year, flea-bitten, starting to lose its hide, etc.  and mail that to them on their dime, including a note:

"Thought you'd appreciate this for your office"  :gap:

Humm... did not know that...(evil grin)

Old worn out disc brake rotors, busted CV joints... the list is endless for us guys who have 4x4s.. heh.  Or maybe put it in a poster tube.... yeah, that's oversize...  Nice, too, because they have to tip it on end to get whatever is out...   perhaps pack the stuff with sawdust?

Gives a whole new meaning to "I want the old parts" when at the shop...

Oh I love the old ratty estate sale stuffed animal, too... lovely :)

I've got some old bull horns!  Or my deer antlers with skull still attached!   :rofl2:

I've got the short side axle out of a chevy 10 bolt laying around, that has the splined end all mushroomed out when it went into the differential somehow.   :yesnod:
