OK i got a few things done.. things didn't completely go the way i planned.  the 51 springs are not going to work unless i move the rear hanger back at least 2 inch's. i remove the bottom of the old springs and installed the 5.5 shackle and installed the ubolt flip kit.

shocks on. didn't expect to mount the shock tops forward on the new brace. but thats how it lined up on the 79 frame.

looks nice, i like all the ideas shown on here.. ill have to get the '86+ 2WD plates... thats a very useful idea.

I'm not done yet.. still got some small details to beef up. and i intend to install longer springs soon. this gets the 92 axle with 4.56 r&p and Aussie locker on, bigger rear brakes to match the fj40 rotors up front and fj80 MC. road and trail test good. i am impressed with those bilstein shocks.
