how do I pull off my wiper motor?
« on: Jul 22, 2008, 05:35:57 PM »
anybody know how to get the darn thing off? 93 pickup. I got the 3 bolts off the firewall side but it seems to be attached to an arm or something from behind the firewall. Any ideas?

You have to pull the cowl vent off to unhook it from the arm.

you dont have to pull the cowl, just pull on the arm, and you can get the motor out far enough to pop the ball end loose with a pair of pliers

if you cant pull o nthe arm, slightly tap the power to the motor and it will start moving, cut power and it will be far enough out
