waggy 44 front end
« on: Jul 29, 2004, 04:28:14 PM »
Just picked up a dana 44 front axle out of a 1979 wagoneer from a friend the other day. My only question is about the knuckles. I have to run high steer and need flat top knuckles. Anyone know of some companys that sell some good flat top knuckles, and possibly arms also.  Or if not what would be the best donor axle for these knuckles.

I saw sky's arms and they look pretty cool, especially the raised high steer arms.

Should I just get some chevy 44 knuckles and drill and tap them myself?

I can't seem to find to many companys who make replacement knuckles. I wouldn't mind buying a set of new beefy knuckles and inner c's since I'm planning on running chromolys and CTM's.
