I had some likely "pot growers" come look at the truck a few weeks ago who were looking for a ranch truck to haul soil and mash through the brush. They ended up flaking out and am I was glad because they definitely would not appreciate and take care of the truck. It is by no means a perfect truck, but it still runs well and looks good. Now, if I can just get it to pass smog!

Plekto

I'm in CA and I want it...  lol.

Gotta save for moving expenses, though...

I will consider your offer Yout Goat. However, for now, I will wait and see if there are any other bids as I have if advertised in several places.

I thought short beds are rarer? :dunno:
That's way too clean for me to buy and tear apart/bash/full width swap... I'd feel bad.

Here in California, all I ever see is short beds. It took me about six months of searching to find a long bed that was not rusted or cut up. In my opinion, if you are going to own a truck as use it for work as it was intended, it has got to be a long bed. As far as numbers Toyota released off the factory line, I do not know?

I have had a lot of interest in this truck, but it is still for sale. I have too many vehicles and need to sell this truck, drop it from my insurance, and clear up some space. It is currently registered through October 2009. It does need a little TLC to get it to pass CA smog. $3800

Any interest in the truck? Just in case anyone was wondering, Marlin actually came to my house in Ukiah, Ca and we installed the L52HD transmission in my driveway. I have never had an issue with the transmission since.

86 toyota supra
134k
Blue/blue clear coat flaking in s
inline 6
5 speed
runs great Ive driving it several times
3000 OBO

He will most likely throw in his 87 turbo supra for around that price
the 87 ran great before he gutted it.   .....was his project car before he got his YJ
500 for 87 individually

woodash

D.hoani,
Why are you posting your supra here in my 1980 Toyota 4x4 thread?

woodash

I was contacted by the new owner today, and he let me know how pleased he was with the truck. It turns all it needed was a carb rebuilt kit ($30) and a couple hours of labor. The truck is now running great, and though I was sad to sell it, and I am glad the new owner will appreciate and take care of it.
