I'm installing a brand new 4" leaf springs on my 85 pickup. Please tell me what you think of my front shackle angle. Should I move the front spring hanger forward a little to make the shackles sit more vertical or what I have now is good ? The truck is now sitting on its four wheels and on level ground. I need to know what you think before I start putting the shock hoops on.

greatly appreciate for your opinion !

what springs are they?  they are brand new so they will settle a little.  i would move the front hanger forward a hair.

I would move the hanger forward a bit.  When your springs settle it should be around there, in my opinion.
Relentless

I think the hangar should go forward a bit too.....the spring will settle probably a half inch at least (in height)

According to some people it should look more like this....

thanks everyone for your opinion. I think so too about moving the front hanger forward. I'm going to move it forward about  1/2" to 3/4"or so.  :eyebrow:
