Everybody is so serious, Canada, USA who give a :pokinit:, We are all into the 4x4 world so we are all equally cool.

I run 38s  with a ARB up front, and with the new hub gears everything should be cool with the warranty if something was to happen.

When I warrantied my 30 spline becouse of a crack in the cage, Bobby sent a note back with my paperwork that stated: Warning we do not recomend a spool, or tires over 39 in size for our toyota axles.

It kinda stuck out in my mind becouse I just had a friend upgrade to 39.5 IROCS and I have been curious if the .5 make that much difference.

hmmmmm....so once the tires wear down some they would be covered under warranty?????

I dunno. But I do know of quite a few people out there running tires way larger than that. I for one like my warranty and I'm gonna be keeping my tire size small enough to suit Bobbys demands.

Longfields - The only reason why some of us are still running Toyota drivetrain and big tires.  If he hadn't come out with the 30 spline Longfields, most of your Toyota's would be running 35's and not as capable!

exactly. NO ONE would be running a toyota front end if there was such thing as an aftermarket birfield, let alone a longfield. he's constantly trying to find ways to make them stronger. i had 3 long and hard years of beating on mine before i broke one. it didnt even break bad either. 2 tiny hairline cracks in the star and it stripped out the shaft. then guess what, i sent them in and had new shafts that were upgraded and better. buy some longs. 27 or 30, i think there equal in strength basically.

When I see someone mention "Made in Canada" the only thing that comes to mind is the additional cost for customs and exchange rate on the dollar. This usually translates to higher cost these days to us poor americans........

BTW 30 spline Longs are as strong as a stock D60....

That is what the graph on Longfields web site says and when mine come he enclosed a copy of it in my paper work. I also got the 39 or bigger note and the welded or spool note. Got mine 6 months ago and they were well worth it. I broke both stock birfields at the same time at Tellico. My Aussie was working good that night!...But after stuck on trail with both broke and NO steering because chunks of them got logged in both knuckles. Bobby was the first call I made that next monday and no problem sence!
