Fairly New to Boards
« on: Jul 21, 2004, 09:14:32 PM »
Just checking in after a couple of weeks.  I currently have an 83 Longbed(my 4th 4wheel drive, my 6th toyota).  I have a few mods done and many on the way.
Mods include:
Hi-pinion 529's ARB w/histeer landcruiser rotors/ifs calipers up front,
rear has v6 3rd with matching ARB and 529's
Viair compressor,
 Warn 8000,
custom front bumper and rock sliders
All pro front spring(I wish Marlin had his out earlier!)
El-Cheapo's in the back(next to replace) :smack:
And a few othert do-dads

I guess I'll have to figure out the picture part! ???

I reside in Central CAL(Marlintown)

Next thing on the list is the rear springs. It rides and flexs nice, but way too low.  This is my daily driver so I don't want to get to radical.  Any news if Marlin's got rear springs in the making?  I may end up with allpro rear springs or possible chevy spring set-up?
(Blocks-I really don't want to might just might to get by!)

Rear bumper is bad and needs to be relaced with some additional armor!

This was a picture from last months Swamp trip.  It was a blast to catch fish and cruise the still waters.
It's nice to get off the bank
(and try not to dump the canoe and all it contents into the crisp, cold water!) :crossed:

I had to add a bench seat for my two kids to ride with me. I found a bench seat out of an Isuzu.  I had to drill new hole, but the bench seat has a large notch at the center and I did not have to dogleg the  dual case shifter!
