power steering on a 82 toyota

How could it be done and how difficult would it be.

some of them came stock with powersteering i believe...

just get all the PS stuff off an sr5 1st gen and swap all the parts to your truck.it should all be the same.i dont think it would be too hard cuz it all bolts is. :thumbs:

Doesn't need to be an sr5, just needs to have power steering stock  :thumbs:  A simple search would probably net you more info that you'd want to read too!

WRONG   my 79 came stock with power steering and a/c

just find any 79-85  that has power steering  , you need the gear box and a pump,  the resivoir also

really easy swap. took me about 2 hours. dont forget you need a third crank pulley that just bolts on

The pump mounting brackets on the 85 are different IIRC.
