i was wondering if a 33-12.5/15 would fit on my 84 pickup with a 1.5 inch shackle lift. i have 31-10.5/15 on there right now.

33's would be too big you will need about 4 inches to clear them and not rub.

i have a 83 with negitive arch front springs and 33 12.5s only rubbing was on the plastic inner fender .. a little dremel solved that problem

hmm... I have 30s on the stock 85 with negative arched springs, and the tires are contacting the firewall bad enough to cut them up.

My 82 had 33s on it when i got it. and they didnt rub. no lift all stock suspension. front leafs where neg about 2 inches as well :beer:

On my 88 I ran 33x12.50's with no rubbing.
Wheel width and backspacing has a lot to do with it.

U could run 32s, im runnin 32x12.50 15 on my 3rd gen with no lift it only rubs if im doin somthin stupid.

 my buddy runs 33x12.50 on his 84 with a 2in shackle lift and negative arched in the front. they only rub if he's playing too rough.
22RE .30 over, mild cam, K&N, LCE header, 2.25'' pipe, high flow cat, Magnaflow.
 Marlin 1200LB clutch

 no substitute for 4wheel drive.

i have 33x12.5s on my 84 with flat fronts and 2" longer shackles in the rear and it didnt rub till got my welded thrid or i hit a bump and full steering lock
