Knuckle Ball Rust
« on: May 20, 2008, 07:29:34 AM »
I've seen the Knuckle Ball Rust problem pleanty of times, pits of rust on the outside of the ball.

This may be a solution! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhTZkvkivDQ

Somebody try it and let me know how it works. :yesnod:

Eats up battery chargers.  Although mine was a Kragens unit.  Takes alot of time.  (time lapse said 48 hours.)  Worked though.

It's not necessarily ordinary dish soap.  I thought they were going to say baking soda because that is what most people associate with sodium bicarb.  Baking soda is a fantastic buffer that will neutralize acid and do all kinds of useful things.  Many times you'll hear about using baking soda and water on your car battery terminals.

That looks like an interesting thing to try out
