So tonight I took off the front grill, bumper, and finished taking off the PS fender.

Squirrels...

I have a feeling I'll be replacing the shocks...

Probably going to have to replace every gasket on this thing...

I'm not sure what the PO was doing here...

probably changing out the main fuse...it does require all that.

Yeah, maybe, the whole thing was unbolted from the fender.

Looks like the f-ed up plug is for diesels, and the 2 small fuses that are missing on the left, are supposed to be missing.

that's how you access the main fuse...it is bolted in and you have to pull that bolt that he obviously missed to get it out.

i actually ran those striaght to my battery, there were no fuses in that thing labeled diesel and with the eyelets connected, there were no wores on the other side of the fuse holder, and it basically just had a bunch of eyelets bolted together on the side of it.... i extended the wires and put them to eyelets at the battery..

no rex, there werent any fuses there at all. it was just a bolt run through eyelets, one of those eyelets went to the battery.. everything is already fused at the box. the 2 most noted are the wires for the headlights

Got to cleaning a little bit.
Used super concentrated Simple Green, sprayed on, wait 5 minutes, hose off.
I haven't done any scrubbing yet, I've got to pick up more Simple Green first.
Looks a little bit better....

I also think I have 2 carbs here, I'm pretty sure they are not complete, I'm going to break them down and see what parts I'm missing.
OldYellerCJ is supposed to have a hookup for a free running carb so we'll see if he can get that.

Spare parts are great!  I got a spare EFI from Justin (Snoshobrue) and it came in handy.

I used some degreaser on mine, but there were alot of places it missed.  And it didn't get as clean as yours did.

I was actually asking more about the hole, is there a certain diameter is has to be?

My FNLaw might be able to hook me up with some sometime down the line, so I'm just wondering...
