My 1982 Toyota Trekker

Here is a pic of my 1982 Trekker it has a 5 inch lift 33's and front and rear lockers and 4:88 gears currently in the process of rebuilding it due to fiberglass damage from rolling it last year memorial day weekend

I made the top and am about to build one for my 1985 4runner i just bought a week ago had to do the important stuff first though like the lift gears lockers and the 35's on 17 inch wheels i will post more pics of both soon just had the 4runner on the beach after finishing the lift and stuff works well still unsure of the auto box though  :turtle3:

whats the difference in a 1st gen and a trekker? they look the same. what motor is in it?

a trekker is basically a 4runner version of a 1rst gen....

it has the same drive train as any other first gen they were originaly pick ups with out boxes that winnebago converted into sport utes and yes they are the reason that there are 4runners today mine now runs a 87 efi motor an r series tranny and a 87 turbo truck rear and 85 front it wheels great right now i'm rebuilding it want to add a turbo and some longer rear springs etc.
