ANy one who's going this next week there is still some snow.
When I got there Friday morning looked like no one had gone down the trail to Pierce since there were no tracks.  Some spots had about  3 feet of snow.  But I imagine by this next weekend most of it will be gone.  The wheeling was fun and the trail was pretty wet with the run-off from the snow!  I should have a video link and some pics up soon.

It was on the trail leading to Pierce just past where the Fordyce trail forks right.
From the Eagle Lakes / Indian Springs staging area.  But I bet as hot as it is, all the snow will be gone this week.  I swear I could practically see it melting away before my eyes the 2 days we were there.

Yeah the water pushed him around pretty good.  Only thing we could think of was his tires are bigger giving more floatation, cuz I didn't move as much.

Me neither...

I also looked at the flows on dreamflows and it says its only at 26...that seems to be a pretty low number for how much you got pushed around.

Its not on the actual Fordyce trail.  Its about 2 miles southeast down the Pierce trail which branches off from where the Fordyce trail starts on The Eagle Lakes side.
